Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
MEP Inspection Pro is an electrical inspection app for contractors, operated by Keywest Lights & Electric, Seminole, Florida ("we"). This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used.
Who uses the app
MEP Inspection Pro is used by electrical contractors and their technicians. Homeowners see only the report link their contractor shares with them.
What we collect
- Account details: company name, license number, user names, email addresses, phone numbers, and passwords (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Inspection data: customer name and service address (entered by the contractor or read from the contractor's Service Fusion account), photos the technician takes, technician notes, grades, and the repairs the customer selects.
- Service Fusion connection: access tokens or API keys for the contractor's own Service Fusion account, stored encrypted.
- Camera: the app uses the camera only when the technician taps a photo button. Photos are uploaded to the contractor's inspection, not used for anything else.
We do not collect location in the background, contacts, or advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no third-party analytics.
How it is used and shared
- Inspection photos and notes are sent to xAI to grade each item against the National Electrical Code.
- The service address is sent to Google Street View and the U.S. Census geocoder to get a photo of the home for the report cover.
- Repairs the customer selects are written to the contractor's own Service Fusion account as a new estimate.
- Data is hosted on Railway (cloud servers in the United States).
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Each company's data is kept separate and is visible only to that company's users. We may disclose information if required by law.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Service Fusion credentials are encrypted at rest. Customer report links use long random codes.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the contractor's account is active. A company admin can delete the company account and all its data in the app (Settings → Delete company account). A company admin, or a homeowner whose information appears in a report, can ask us to delete their data by emailing mark@keywestlights.com. We delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.
Children
The app is for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes and contact
